  • Sara O'Meara, born Sara Buckner in Knoxville, Tennessee, was educated at various institutions, including Briarcliff Junior College, Endicott College, The Sorbonne, and Pasadena Playhouse. She lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with a son, John Hopkins, a daughter, Taryn, and three grandchildren. Her other son, Chuck, died in 1988, and her husband, Colonel Bob Sigholtz—a decorated veteran of three wars and former Athletic Director of Georgetown University—passed in 2005. As a young woman, Sara faced terminal cancer but was miraculously healed at Evangelist Kathryn Kuhlman’s service in Los Angeles over 50 years ago, sparking a lifelong friendship and ministry. Sara now holds monthly healing services at The Little Chapel in Paradise Valley, with thousands of verified healings. Her book, Healed - Your Miracle Awaits, launched in 2023 and remains an Amazon #1 Bestseller. A second Miracle Healing book is in production. Sara is also Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Childhelp, a 65-year-old organization aiding abused and neglected children, having rescued over 13 million kids. She’s received over 100 awards, including the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award and Stanford’s Happiness Hall of Fame Award. A key figure in child welfare, Sara has served on international boards and continues to inspire through her faith and healing ministry.
