  • What Was it Like Being Friends With a Disney Legend?
    Jul 1 2025

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.

This week we talk with journalist and author Chuck Schmidt about his new book Marty, Mickey and Me.

You may already by familiar with Chuck’s work from his previous books or his regular column on Allears.net, but even if you aren’t, this isn’t an episode you want to miss.

We get into Chuck’s incredible career, from making early connections within the Disney company to numerous stories involving some incredible Disney Legends (I mean how amazing would it be to just causally run into Joe Rohde?)

And if you want to read about even more of Chuck’s incredible stories with Disney Legend Marty Sklar, check out his book Marty, Mickey and Me which is out now.

  • What if You Were Disney's CEO?
    Jun 23 2025

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.

This week Disney announced the opening date for the new Test Track and gave us an update on the new Disney Starlight parade coming to the Magic Kingdom.

Bob Iger is retiring in 2026, which means Disney needs a new CEO.

Instead of picking someone from within the Company, what if they picked an outsider?

Maybe even a pair of Disney loving podcast hosts?

Well this week, we are officially throwing our hats in the ring for the title of Walt Disney CEO. And we come with a vision to revitalize the Company and set it up for years to come.

From retooling the streaming strategy to battling AI to a splashy acquisition that every good CEO needs, we lay out a strong position (at least we think so 😜) as to why we should be Disney’s next Co-CEOs.

  • Is the Premier Pass Worth $400?
    Jun 17 2025

Hello and welcome to the Enchanted Ears Podcast, where we discuss anything and everything Disney.

This week Disney dropped some updates on the new Cars and Muppets attractions coming to Disney World.

How much would you pay to be able to skip every line at Magic Kingdom?

    $200? $300? $400?

Well, Disney’s newest Lightning Lane offering (that’s like 3 now right?) the Premier Pass offers just that. For around $400, you can get one time access to every major attraction in the Magic Kingdom.

But with 19 attractions included, is it even possible to experience them all or is the Premier Pass just another useless Disney upsell.

In order to find out, we purchased the Premier Pass during our recent trip to see what you could realistically accomplish in a day and the results surprised even us.
