  • Andrew Della Volpe - Rolling the Snowball
    Feb 6 2025

Comedian Andrew Della Volpe comes back and defers to Danny for a meal pick. Danny had a craving for something and promises it's not a bit because it would be an awful one.

Some shop talk at the beginning, Andrew and Danny talk about how at points Comedy can feel like chasing a dragon, how frustrating it is to feel like you aren't progressing, and how sometimes the best way to recognize your progression is to go back to Day 1 and look at it zoomed out.

Andrew is getting married in the summer as well so we chat with the husband to be to ask him what are some things he think he'll be good at with the new relationship label as well as some things he might need to work on, but either way, he's ready and excited.

  • Jeremy Cangiano - Jeremy 2.0
    Jan 14 2025

Comedian/Photographer/Content Creator Jeremy Cangiano comes by and asks Danny for Chicken Cutlets, Mashed Potatoes, and Corn.

After laughing about their past few social misses, Jeremy kicks it off talking about growing up in North Reading, his days working in a diner, and how he can still think of that "wet smell" he had on him after a shift.

Jeremy tells us also how he's feeling like a 2.0 version of himself. After a long road looking inward at gender identity, Jeremy has finally arrived to a point where he feels like he's speaking truth about who he really is, making the future a very exciting path.

  • Kathe and Jesse Farris - The Non Binary Swede vs A Giraffe
    Nov 18 2024

Comedians Kathe Farris and Jesse Farris return together! Friday Night Pizza and Gilmore Girls was a tradition, so the two asked for a Peppers and Onion Pie.

We get a fun look into what it's like when a parent and their child are pursuing the same craft, how Kathe handles seeing Jesse deal with a tough crowd as her mother, and Jesse gives some wonderful insight to the idea that if you're arguing with your child, having a difference of opinion, and feeling frustrated; that could be a good thing. "It's okay to sometimes not like each other if most of the time you like each other."

Kathe and Jesse also bring gifts and a "guess who got which" game turns into a contest that sees Danny have to choose a winner, and the two pitch why each should be crowned the victor. It goes as well as you think it does, and definitely no one's feelings get hurt.

    Nov 13 2024

My sister is having a baby today (11.13.24)

We went back to our youth and played a game of Mario Party to celebrate this new chapter. Along the way, Meg tells us about some foods she couldn't get enough of, why she hopes her child isn't a sporty one, and how the character Ninji, a pudgy entity that waddles and has two giant red buttons on its chest, is the pregnant woman spirit animal.

  • Harry Gustfason - Concerts is People Too
    Nov 5 2024

Allston Pudding editor Harry Gustafson comes by and asks Danny to make Pasta Carbonara. Harry is the host of Allston Pudding Presents: The Puddcast; a podcast centered around interviewing musicians and shedding a light on the homegrown talent of Boston.

Harry talks about his 8 years for the music blog, how its grown from the days of writing about only one genre of music, and his willingness to chase a new interest has lead him to wear many different hats over his career.

That willingness to chase a new interest is something Harry attributes to his dad. When he passed, Harry needed an outlet for grief, and found it in photography. What started as therapeutic has become a blossoming skill; one that while he can't share with his dad in a traditional sense, Harry knows he's there.
