    My guest today on Dashing Dan Sporting Adventures Podcast is an elite sports person in a number of sports.

    He was an outstanding junior middle-distance runner at school, winning the 800 and 1500 metres at the Prestigious APS Sports at Xavier College in Melbourne. Injuries then curtailed his running career and to help heal he hopped on a bike and then concentrated on road cycling and became a professional road cyclist and was selected in international teams in Europe and actually raced in the Giro D'italia. However, after numerous falls, he has elected to retire from Road cycling and concentrate on a career as a triathlete. Here is the story of Jimmy Whelan on Dashing Dan's Sporting Adventures.
