  • Dark Downeast: Maine and New England's True Crime Podcast digs into the decades-old and modern day cases that prickle the history of Vacationland and beyond – the unsolved homicides, undetermined deaths, unexplained disappearances and other dark stories of New England. • The Murder of Natalie Scheublin (Massachusetts)
    Sep 5 2024

Investigators who first worked the 1971 homicide case of Natalie Scheublin in Bedford, Massachusetts considered every possible theory for her death – kidnapping for ransom, burglary gone wrong, a random attack in an otherwise quiet community – and yet nothing led police to the truth. For years, Natalie’s family waited for answers until decades later, forensic technology finally identified a suspect.

Great stories and storyteller

I really enjoy Kylie and the stories she tells. I love that some are unsolved and some have a resolution. It’s so nice to actually have some resolution with some of the cases she shares.
Kylie has a knack for storytelling and I’m loving this show as a whole.

great true crime podcast obsession

The cases are presented with respect and very little extrernal opinion interjection. You feel connected to the cases by the narration. Well worth the listen or binge

Being from the North East this podcast is great

I was able to binge this entire season so far non stop. I found this on audible too. I found episode 1 to be a great amount of time at around 30 mins . Each episode is at that amount of time. Perfect . Please keep up the great work.

Good stuff. Done with ethics.

My only complaint is how slow the host talks and all the long awkward pauses. If the podcast says 29min it’s only 20min of actual content.
