Our guest today is Amanda Schneider, Executive Director of Amplify Voices, a nonprofit organization serving individuals from marginalized communities who want to use their voice as an instrument of change. After participating in Amplify's first program: Triumph Over Trafficking and Sexual Abuse where she brought her own story to the voice, Amanda brought her varied background of corporate, public education, training and entrepreneurship to her current role at the organization and her passion for serving others to the women they serve. As a momma to three boys, Amanda shares how she navigated her own traumatic experiences through the help of Amplify’s programming and why she is so committed to giving others a voice. With the upcoming release of their documentary, titled The Journey, Amanda hopes to raise awards for what the organization does to support their community and why she believes so strongly in the power of a safe community.
