Cold Case Files

By: A&E / PodcastOne
  • Summary

  • Based on the iconic, Emmy-nominated series on A&E, this show explores some of the most difficult-to-solve murders, which stymied investigators and went cold, sometimes for decades. In fact, one-third of all murders in America remain open. But thanks to dogged investigators and breakthroughs in forensic technology, these cases become part of the rare 1% of cold cases that are ever solved. Cold Case Files is hosted by Paula Barros.

Ads ads ads

I really like the ads. There is just the right amount of them to be scattered throughout the story every 5 minutes for 10 minutes at a time!

All The Ads!

I was captured by the stories but I hated having to her the same ad over and over waved into the unbelievable tragic stories people are trying to share.

Did I miss something?

The whole middle of the story was edited out so you don't hear what happened

Too many repeats

WATY TOO MANY REPEAT EPISODES! I guess that’s ok in the sense that means someone isn’t killing someone else and this we have a ‘story to tell’ but for a podcast - sorry ass experience

Too many ads

The ads are so often and so long I forget what the story is even about. The same ad will play twice at the end of one episode and twice at the beginning of the next.
I like both the cold case and the I survived, but not back to back. Sometimes I want to listen to one or the other.
There are so many true crime options and this one is more trouble then it’s worth.

Ads galore - wouldn’t recommend for sleep

Unless you can sleep through blaring ads, this might not be the true crime podcast to sleep too.
