Ryan Argast is one of the most impressive music entrepreneurs in Chicago, cutting through the scene with his band Marina City. With a background in A&R, booking, and more than 17 years as a performing artist, he has masterfully managed Marina City to use clever new approaches to continue building their music empire in 2021. The Columbia Grad comes highly recommended and we are excited to brainstorm new strategies to get artists building Superfans in their own neighborhoods (and abroad) again. GUEST BIO: By the age of 18 Argast had been signed twice, once to a record label, and once with a production deal. In order to put his career in his own hands Argast enrolled in Columbia College Chicago as a Business and Entrepreneurship major with a Marketing minor. Through his time at Columbia, Argast has spent majority of his time touring and being part of multiple internships. Not only does Argast has knowledge in artist management, licensing, marketing, social media, booking, and being an A&R but he has experience in all of those departments.
