    In this podcast episode we want to introduce you to our BCEN Friend, Reginald “Reggie” Santiago.

    Reginald Santiago is an inpatient care coordinator and case manager at Duke University Hospital’s Raleigh campus. Over the past 30 years in healthcare, he has served in roles as a paramedic, adjunct paramedic instructor, tactical medical instructor, and Special Operations Forces Medical Instructor specializing in prolonged field care (PFC).

    Additionally, Reginald is the creator and host of the Paramedic2RN podcast. Reginald’s educational background includes an Associate’s degree of Applied Sciences in Emergency Medical Science, an ADN from a Paramedic to RN bridge program, and as well as his BSN. Reginald is currently pursuing an MSN in Adult-Gerontology as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at East Carolina University. He holds board certifications as a CEN, TCRN, CCRN, CFRN, CTRN, and is a national registry paramedic.

    Transitioning between careers can be difficult and Reggie is no stranger to difficult challenges. From Paramedic to RN to podcast host, Reggie chats about the good, the hard, and the people who help get you through it all.

  • Courage is fear you ignore (Jordan McAdam S6E2)

    In this podcast episode we want to introduce you to our BCEN Friend, Jordan McAdam.

    Jordan McAdam is an emergency room nurse with nearly a decade of experience, currently serving as the Nurse Educator at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. As the Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator, Jordan has been instrumental in enhancing pediatric readiness in her department, elevating their score from 64 to an impressive 94 out of 100. She was also the first in her team to earn her Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) designation and has since dedicated herself to mentoring her colleagues on the path to certification.

    We are really looking forward to meeting Jordan in person at Learn LIVE in Phoenix Arizona as she will be presenting at the conference. Lots of exciting things to talk about

  • Compassion is a universal language (Marvin Delfin S6E1)

    In this podcast episode we want to introduce you to our BCEN Friend, Marvin Delfin.

    Marvin is an experienced nurse from Zamboanga, Philippines, with nearly 20 years of global experience in countries like the UAE, Brazil, the US, and Qatar. He holds eight national nursing certifications and two master's degrees, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning. Passionate about travel, Marvin has visited 54 countries and volunteered at prestigious events like the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup.

    Currently, he serves as the Program Planning Committee Chair for AACN's NTI 2025 and works with the Daisy Award Foundation. Marvin has received numerous professional accolades, including ENA’s 20 Under 40 Award for 2024 and AONL’s Young Professional Voices for 2025.

    Healthcare and nursing are oftentimes full of tough decisions and long shifts. It's important to find sources of encouragement and gratitude, which is exactly what Marvin will be bringing in this conversation!
