BC women knock off No. 15 Northeastern; Holy Cross sweeps Vermont - CHS 2-16-25

  • Summary

  • It’s the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for February 16, 2025. We’ve only got two games, both women and both in Hockey East to close out the week - or start the week if you’re one of these people who thinks like a calendar and thinks the week BEGINS on a Sunday. Why else would Saturday/Sunday be called a WEEKEND if it wasn’t ENDING a week. Boom. Roasted. Semantics aside, and I don’t care if you’re right and I’m wrong, one thing is certainly right - here, you’ll get none of that analysis, none of those breakdowns, you’ll get Just. The. Scores.

Julia Pellerin's power-play goal with just under nine minutes remaining was the game-winner as Boston College moved into a tie for third in Hockey East with two games left in the season after a 3-2 win over No. 15 Northeastern at Matthews Arena on Sunday. It was Pellerin's 17th of the season for the Eagles, who like Northeastern are now 19-12-1 on the season. BC sits 13th, Northeastern 14th in the pairwise. BC finishes up with New Hampshire, while Northeastern will take on Vermont.

Holy Cross completed a sweep of Vermont with a 3-1 win at home. Lulu Rourke scored twice to lift the Crusaders. As noted earlier, Vermont will close hosting Northeastern next week, while Holy Cross visits Maine.
