In the last week, president Trump’s latest trade policies have provided a whole lot of whiplash for Americans, their wallets, and the global economy. Part of Trump’s tariff plan includes maintaining and increasing his tariffs on China, one of the U.S.’s largest trading partners. China spends billions on American agricultural products every year, meaning American farmers are likely to get caught in the middle of Trump’s trade war, again. MSNBC’s Alex Wagner travels to Johnston County in North Carolina to hear from farmers who are standing by Trump, even as he stands down his own policies. Then, a conversation with The Atlantic’s Annie Lowrey on what this all means for our global economy.

  • The MAGA-fication of the Military
    Apr 3 2025

This week, the Senate held its confirmation hearing for Lt. Gen. Dan “Razin” Caine, President Trump’s relatively obscure nominee for chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Caine’s nomination comes amidst questions of his perceived loyalty to Trump and the blowback of last week’s Signal leak involving several high-level Trump administration officials, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Not to mention, the administration’s continued attack on DEI and so-called “wokeness” in the military. On this episode of Trumpland with Alex Wagner, a look at how Trump is trying to remake the American military, and the potential threat it may have to readiness, morale, and recruitment in the armed forces. We hear from the some of the people who’ve put their lives on the line for their country about their concerns for the future of America’s fighting forces.

I have a question

I wish someone in the western media would ask during a White House press conference, why is the US government applauding the Israeli government and IDF for breaking international laws and showing zero regard for the Geneva convention or respect for any country that's a member of the UN, yet if any other country in the Middle East did this the US government would have dropped a nuclear bomb on that country??? The actual reason that Biden is losing and will lose is because democrats are disgusted by his handling of the Israel and Hamas war, or to call it like it truly is, the Israeli government committing genocide and being funded by the US government! If democrats have proven in the past that they won't choose between 2 evils, they just won't vote. Biden needs to remember that the only reason he became president is because the democrats wanted trump out so bad that we were willing to vote for Biden, especially since he said that he would only be a one term president, that's another thing that has made democrats not want to vote!
