  • Welcome to Across the Glass Sea! This actual-play DnD 5th Edition podcast sees Dungeon Master Nathanael Miller lead players Ben Gilbreth and Michael Mazul on crazy imaginary adventures where dice rolls play a part in determining the outcomes. Hello everyone!

Unfortunately, we still haven't had time to slay the scheduling dragon and sit down to record another play session. However, to keep to our bi-weekly release schedule as best we can, Nathanael and Ben recorded a second Dungeon Master focused conversation. Thanks for being patient as Nathanael and Michael continue to acclimate to the big changes in their lives at the moment.

    We hope you enjoy!

Also - we mention several 3rd party companies and creators that we use for ideas, inspiration, or just help. Here they are:

    Kobold Press

    Hit Point Press

    The Griffon's Saddlebag

    Kobold Fight Club

This list is by no means exhaustive. These guys are great, but there are other sources and sites we love to use as well. If you are curious, let us know!

Lichen and Tam continue their search for Captain Thistlecourt and encounter some new faces. Lichen engages in some doublespeak, and Tam speaks his mind.

Apologies for the coughing - we were all in various stages of sickness. Also, be warned - this episode contains shopping.

  • Across the Table, After the Fact 03 - Players Only
    Dec 17 2024

To quote the fittingly famous chaotician Dr. Ian Malcom, "Life will find a way"... to ruin your DND schedule.

Unfortunately, life found a way to prevent us from recording another campaign episode for this week, but we will instead treat you to a slightly early Across the Table, After the Fact.

Another note on life and schedules and how they are mortal enemies:

Nathanael and his wife are expecting their first child in January! Michael got a new job and will be moving away! Congratulations to both of them!

All joking aside, we were planning to take a campaign break for the rest of 2024 and be back with a new campaign episode in early February. We may release another sort of discussion in the interim, but we will work hard to back on The Glass Sea in 2025!

    Thanks everyone!
