Behind Kim’s thin veil of perfection was something more sinister. It seemed that all who crossed paths with Kim were worse for it, and that was true of Cherry Walker. Cherry was a woman with a developmental disability that Kim took advantage of, using her for childcare and favors. Cherry was a kind woman, always willing to help and often didn’t know the depths to which others could be so cruel. It took several days to identify her charred remains after they were found abandoned in a field.
