On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Calgary Native Kirby Lupul (@KJ_Lups) of the Cats n' Rats Podcast to break down the big day at the Four Nations. The two break down the animosity from the start of puck drop with three fights in nine seconds, where it brought the excitement of what fans have been missing from the lack of international hockey. Canada took the lead after Connor McDavid finished on a breakaway. After that, the USA played a tight game, where they didn't give up a goal the rest of the way, USA took the lead in the second period, and the teams played a tight game from there on. USA with the win advances to the final, and they did so without Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk, who took himself out of the game with just under 13 minutes left in the third period. Finland took on Sweden earlier in the day where Sweden took the early lead after a turnover by Barkov that ended up in the back of their net. Finland took the lead before the end of the first on the power play, and the Swede's made a goaltender change after Filip Gustavsson gave up two goals on four shots. Linus Ullmark took it the rest of the way. Sweden was the most opportunistic bunch as Finland's coontrolled play for the first five minutes, but couldn't capitalize, and Sweden scores two straight. Finland however ended the period on a high note with Aleksander Barkov getting a goal on a tip-in. The third became tight as neither scored, but less than two minutes into overtime, Finland's Mikael Granlund won it in overtime to give Finland a chance to advance with a regulation win on Monday afternoon. The two discuss the scenario's, Tkachuk's availability, and if the Canadian's should stick with Jordan Binnington. What should USA's approach be if Sweden is eliminated before the drop of the puck on Monday night?
