I've worked with hundreds of clients over the last couple of years who misinterpret the meaning of training hard as many of them used to think that bodybuilding or fitness is done only at the gym. But that is not true. There is a popular saying across the fitness industry that states 30 percent of the fitness you gain is from the gym and 70 percent from the kitchen. The exact percentage is likely to fluctuate based on the individual and their goals for training, but the premise is accurate. Most of your gains (approx. 2/3 to 3/4) will be made from nutrition alone. Yes, you heard it right!

Any additional comments?
This book is about average on what to expect in a diet book. The information presented in this book is pretty much basic knowledge. It does contain some great recipes that are easy to prepare. This would be a good book for people who are very strict when on a diet and who are interested in a high protein, low carb diet.

ehhhh Not impressed
I was looking to learn more about the zone diet and it does Very minimally in that regard the bulk of the book consists of recipes which aren't that Time efficient and and practical for busy people who do not have a lot of time to prepare their food

Great Start for Healthier Eating
I thought this book did a really good job providing a starting point for those looking to change their diets to something healthier. In the beginning, it gives a little background about where this and other diets originated and the main differences between them. The rest of the book gives ideas for meals and how to balance the right amounts of foods.
For some reason, I found this audiobook much more useful than a hardcopy cookbook. I think this is because I am only just starting to eat healthier and the list of recipes and meal ideas really got my brain moving about healthy eating. I started coming up with a lot more combinations and ideas for things to eat after listening.
Narrator was also very good. Had a very good tone and pace.
I would recommend this book for anyone interested in nutrition or eating healthier.

Nothing new, boring
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This is not a inspirational book. It is lists of food to eat or not to eat.
