Book 2 really picked up he action!

Love this author and this narrator! Love this story too.
Things are really getting exciting. M is wondering if he has a dormant form of the virus in his system or if he’s just immune. His dead wife is haunting his subconscious. He’s meeting new friends & trying to save them all.
We meet the ‘mayor’ who is a bit sick but not like ‘the governor’ if you get my reference.
This is a great series. Book 2 is even better than book 1. Starting book 3 tomorrow! Oh and if you go looking for it on here the cover art says book 4 but it’s actually book 3!

Zombie Annihilation

Book 2 is a Great read, and is stronger than book 1.
Good Zombie fun - slash & shoot,
I enjoyed this book immensely and if your into Zombie fiction highly recommend it.
Andrew B. Wehrlen's performance is as usual awesome, real quality narrator.

Was not my favorite but good twist at the end

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

So, for me, this book suffers the same issue the first one did. There just is not as much action as you'd expect from a Zombie Apocalypse book. I don't know, it just kind of underwhelmed me again. Andrew Wehrlen's narration is really the only reason I finished this book too. The twist at the end, though, did grab my attention. So I will probably continue the series to find out what happens.

Overall a good zombie story!

There's plenty of action in this book with three soldiers defending themselves and other against zombies. Matt, Carl and Sergio come across many obstacles with many close calls. On the road they run across two young women and oblingly take them to their base. Its not like the others they've seen. There isn't zombie for miles, the place has hot water, the food is a bit skimpy but the rooms are luxurious with stocked mimi bars. Something is up with the place. Before long they find out why.

The plot is standard but the writing is great. The author builds the characters and giving them spirit and identity. The story is fast paced. The narrator moves along at a good pace to the plot. Unfortunately I wasn't able to listen to this in one sitting but it was easy to pick back each day without feeling lost. I also haven't read the previous book in this series and didn't feel as though I missed a bunch of stuff. That's a huge plus for the author.

Exciting zombie story!

Still a struggle for me.

The first book of the series was hobbled with little action. For me, I’m afraid the second book is not much better. There is plenty of conversation and much to do with the characters interaction. The zombies still maintain back-burner status. Not until the very end does an interesting twist take place that will bring much needed life to the plot. Perhaps the next book will be the charm. Three.point.five for the effort. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

Second book in the series

This is the second book in this series. Characters continue to battle humans and their own minds. I really liked the twist at the end. It was very interesting. I really hope for more zombies in the next book. The narrator does a good job distinguishing between the male characters' voices. I received this for free for an honest review.

Mixed feelings

This is my first zombie book and I listened to this book before the first book. This may be why I initially liked the audio book. I am not use to this type of narration and writing style. I will definitely give it another listen.

Nicely done twist to the zombie scenario

The story started out with the typical zombie storyline- a few people trying to enter a site to get supplies, hordes of zombies, close calls and smashed skulls. I was pleasantly surprised to find the story started to veer once the trio meet a few strangers who lead them to a defended neighborhood. Here they try to figure out what secrets these people seem to be hiding and determine if they can indeed be allies. The trio have a group of friends back at their base and their friends safety comes first.
This is the first book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would listen to another. Despite not listening to the first book, I did not have any issues getting into this story. This book ends with the main storyline coming to a conclusion, yet we have a reveal that leads us to the next book.

This is the second book I’ve listened to by this narrator and I would listen to another. I got into the story due to his great narration. The character voices were well done- including the females. He did not overdo the fighting scenes.

There are no explicit sex scenes or excessive violence. I don’t recall any swearing. If there was some, it was minimal for me not to recall it.

ACTION-FILLED SECOND INSTALLMENT :)

If you haven't checked out this series yet, please do so! Lots of Zombie action, great characters.
Even the toughest are prey, and trusting others... yeah.
And the Zombies aren't the only danger out there... the evil nature of man comes out in all sorts of forms.

Lots of action!
Great story, excellent narration, I'm a fan and listening to #3 in the series.
Awesome stuff! :)
