Fixed on Christ

This was a marriage that had many ups and downs but through it all they looked to Christ. I appreciate the insight into Charles Spurgeon's life, it gives a better picture of who he was and how his love for Christ worked its way out in his marriage.

Extraordinary!

Once again, author Ray Rhodes has penned an exceptional book about Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Spurgeon. Their love story needed to be told and I was delighted to hear it. I recently finished the physical copy and decided that my next reading would be audio.

My only complaint was the occasional pacing of Ray Faiola and his pronunciation of some words (the city of Mentone, France sounded wrong every time he said it). His tone and overall delivery was good and he was easy to listen to.
