Publisher's summary

Dr. Franz Hartmann was a notable Freemason and prolific writer of his day, as well as being a member of several esoteric organizations such as the Theosophical Society and a non-masonic Templar Order. Here, he examines the similarities in meditative practices between the East and the West, of which there are many, including postures and regulation of breath. In both instances, the desired outcome is reception of the divine mysteries.

Hartmann covers the states of mind that occur during the process. He also provides guidelines and instructions for the potential candidate.

So many identical traditions in world religions

Where does Yoga Practice in the Roman Catholic Church rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

very good. I like the information and would share it with others. I like the idea of making the mysteries of religion which many think are very different, but in actuality are the same with different names.

What did you like best about this story?

Awakening Divine Love through Catholic traditions the path of the cross meditations and identifying the pain of the identifying with the pain of the world. The meaning of the self flagellation.

What about Jason Newcomb’s performance did you like?

Very solid reading good volume rate tone and easy to listen to.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The mysteries in the Catholic Church and the doctrines that are indeed Esoteric in nature. Yogi's life vs the Catholic mysteries.

Any additional comments?

Always wondered about some of the traditions in old catholic traditions.
