Yin Yoga Session 1 is an easy-to-follow 65 minute class. It contains a selection of held floor-based postures to help release deep-set tension from both the muscles and connective tissues.
Yin yoga will improve both joint flexibility and joint stability. By taking the time to engage in a yin-style yoga practise regularly many additional benefits are experienced such as improved posture, increased energy flow, stress levels become more balanced, sleep pattern is often improved and general feelings of health and vitality are experienced.
A yin-style practice will compliment other stronger or flowing yoga practices and other physical activities. It also provides the perfect opportunity to balance a busy or hectic lifestyle as it induces deep relaxation soothing both body and mind.
Yin yoga is suitable for all levels and abilities; always listen to your body.
This class has been devised and narrated by leading yoga teacher Sue Fuller. Sue has been teaching yoga since 1995, she is the creator of the Yoga 2 Hear range of audio yoga classes, a regular columnist for the Yoga Magazine and Natural Health and a course author for the British School of Yoga.

Deceptively Powerful!
So, this workout proceeds in a VERY simple, slow way, which would make it seem like it’s not very effective, but honestly ends up being more powerful than one might think. Many of the poses are VERY simple in theory; however, as someone who had a larger body and does not move around on a consistent basis, even the simple movements pushed me in ways I didn’t expect them to be able to. As well, because it’s going so slowly, I really found myself coming face to face conditioned impatience, producing this really profound spiritual lesson for me about being with the process of the session (and, by extension, life in general) versus pushing to any particular outcome. If you’re the kind of person who’s willing or interested in approaching yoga from that angle instead of the solely fitness angle that gets promoted so predominantly in the West, I think you might really enjoy this—I know I did!

very disappointing , Yin is more than this
Yin Yoga is my favorite form of Yoga. I love the wide variety of stretches that you can do. This class has you lying on your back in different supine twists. I actually did not finish the class
