About this listen

Necromance-for-hire Dante Valentine is choosy about her jobs. Hot-tempered and with nerves of steel, she can raise the dead like nobody’s business. But one rainy Monday morning, everything goes straight to Hell.

The Devil hires Dante to eliminate a renegade demon: Vardimal Santino. In return, he will let her live. It’s an offer she can’t refuse.

There’s just one catch. How do you kill something that can’t die?

Performed by: Christopher Scheeren, Colleen Delany, David Coyne, Elizabeth Jernigan, James Konicek, Joe Brack, Joseph Thornhill, Ken Jackson, Kimberly Gilbert, Lily Beacon, Michael Glenn, Mort Shelby, Nanette Savard, Terence Aselford, Thomas Keegan, Tim Getman, and Nathaniel Perry

Please stop chewing in my ear

I get that the dramatization is supposed to have sfx, I enjoy the sfx. I even listen to food noises alright in most of them, but the amount of chewing and vomiting and slurping and lip smacking and gagging is too much, and the narration harping on the vomiting after the fact didn't help. I feel sick barely a few hours in and had to quit before I puked myself. I couldn't tell you what the story was about, let alone if it's good.

is this written by a teenager?

The dialogue and thought process of the main character is reminiscent of a teenage girl.. The authors descriptions are boring and dull, as if it's written by a 2nd year college student with no real world knowledge. I couldn't even finish the first chapter. I'm a huge fan of the "Graphic Audio" Produced audio books, however. They produce top tier audio books. If you're looking for a good fantasy fiction series, I highly recommend the Riyria Revelations, also produced by Graphic Audio. Fantastic story, and engaging production.
