Publisher's summary

Romance that is destiny laced, fantasy infused, and dressed in a little night magic.

If he leaves, he can never come back. But is he dumb enough to get in his car and drive away anyhow?

New York Times best-selling author, Victoria Danann, begins a sizzling new series about an enclave of modern day witches who are sexy, philanthropic and living in the Texas Hill Country. They're selfless to a fault when it comes to generosity, but when it comes to the men they choose for themselves, they don't settle for anything less than the best.

"Bright. Fun. Happy." (Read to Live, Live to Read)

"Amazing characters. Delightful read." (The Paranormal Romance Guild)

"Great introduction to this fun and witty series." (Read Our Thoughts)

not enough

The 3 books in this Witches of Wimberly series was...ok

The story is based on men lured via fate but under the guiles of a competition to meet their one true mate.
The first story I enjoyed but was left empty by the second book because I was hoping the author was going to follow through with how our pragmatist named Dash wanted to find a way to help the ghosts of the past reunite. Instead she brought in another sister and another union/pairing - and the same thing for the 3rd book.

Misplace vulgarity

I was enjoying the book and them randomly the author decided to throw in words like “pussy” “dick” etc.
I like a steamy sexy scenes but it was like she threw it in as an after thought and just made it cheep and thoughtless.

First-person Male looser point of view

I really tried to like this book, but I’d thought it was about witches; it’s told from the point of view of a vacuous looser pretty-boy who is tapped to become the arranged groom for a witch through a slog of story-waiting-to-happen. Characters are tropes, settings and meals have great descriptions but go on and on and on with little development of the characters, and very little plot. I tossed in the towel after more than two hours of waiting for something exciting to happen, and returned the book.
