About this listen

The Royal Water Fae I’m in love with just hired me to be his intern.

Oh. My. Fae.

I only applied for the job because of a dare, and now I’m packing my bags for the North Pole.

No big deal. I can totally be professional. I haven’t seen him since the Academy anyway. Maybe he’s gotten fat from all the Winter Fae sweets

Except, no. Kalt hasn’t gotten fat at all. He’s still perfectly chiseled and even more gorgeous than I remember. And worse? He has two equally hot friends.

A royal elf named Lark.
And a sexy-as-sin selkie named Norden.

I am so screwed. And I mean that literally because the elf and the selkie seem to think I’m their mate. Only Kalt completely disagrees.

Oh, and not only am I dealing with these three hotties, but my water magic is also on the fritz. I accidentally stirred up a snowball fight in the middle of Santa’s workshop, then ice tinsel started shooting from my fingertips like confetti.

It’s a problem.
One I’m not sure how to solve.
So, yeah, wish me luck! And send warm vibes. I really need some help melting all this snow…

Winter Fae Queen is a quirky paranormal romance featuring a Water Fae from the Elemental Fae universe and her three potential mates.

This is a stand-alone story featuring a happily ever after.
There is no cliff-hanger.
It's melt-your-heart faelicious listen guaranteed to put you in a festive mood.

Very cute and fun story

Even though this story is very different for this writing duo, I loved everything about it. It is a very light and fun read/listen, the narrators brought this story to life.
If you’re looking for a cute holiday (or anytime) read, I highly suggest giving this a go, you won’t be disappointed

Absolutely loved!

This may be one of my all time favorite holiday books. The audiobook is dual too so that was perfect.

Adorable! And amazing world-building

I absolutely loved Candela and all of the Fae Academy worlds—whether, Elemental, Fortune, Midnight, or Hell—all of these worlds are amazing. So obviously I knew I was going to love this one before I ever opened it.

I definitely laughed out loud … a bunch. From the beginning when a professor mentioned knotting in passing (when discussing the Fortune Fae, of course), (IYKYK) and others throughout.

Foss & Thorn are completely brilliant, having thought of every little detail, like always and this world completely comes alive as a result. The food the different types of fae eat, their slang, every detail is themed to suit their respective kind. If you want to escape, I highly suggest this or anything else set in this world for a totally immersive experience.

But also, it’s just adorable. This is such a sweet read—I always love anything to do with Elemental Fae because they truly appreciate and value all life forms, not just humanoid ones … it gives me hope for the human race (where I often have little to none these days).

Absolutely perfect to read during the winter, or Christmastime if you’re wanting those sort of vibes, as it’s set in the North Pole and is utterly magical—though, I’d read this absolutely any time. And if you’re already obsessed with the Elemental Fae realm like I am, it’s fun because there are appearances from other familiar characters.

5 stars.

Side note:
I love Juniper and wouldn’t complain if we got to see more of her. :)

I read some of the ebook, and listened to all of the audiobook.
Formatting: this is one of the most gorgeous ebooks I’ve ever seen.
Audio: This is narrated by an all-star cast, and an absolutely perfect performance. 5-stars on this front, all around.

Wonderful story!

I love, love, love this book! Reading this book really does feel like Christmas magic! I love the narrators, they truly bring the characters to life! Love the characters, they create a wonderful dynamic and play off of each other well as well as being fantastic separately! I enjoy the spirit and energy of each of the characters and all of the hysterical situations inserted into the more serious problem of the coronation. The three different romances are wonderful, love the separate yet connected love stories! And I also adore the creative Fae swearing!

Great Christmas story

Very very good Christmas RH story! I throughly enjoyed it. Probably 3-4🌶️. Lots of talk, not nearly as much action. Still very good!

Such a sweet story and fab performance

If you are looking for a sweet, reverse harem romance with tons of spice and a terrific plot, this is it for you.
The multiple POV acting was fantastic and really the only way I will listen to books these days as single pov books get boring for me.
The actors themselves did a great job too and made this book come to life for me. So well done!
MM. MMF. All done in a super tasteful yet still spicy manner.

Sexy winter wonderland

This was such a cute and fun story. If you’re looking for a paranormal romance to lift your spirits and make you swoon, this book is for you. It is really just a joyful experience. A sexually explicit, winter wonderland. This will definitely go on my “lift my spirits” list. I will listen to it when I’m suffering a bout of anxiety or depression.
The narrators were very good, and definitely added to the story.

Love love love

I love when books have dual perspectives with other narrators but I ADORE books who have other narrators who are in as their lines in all chapters. This story was amazing

This is a stand alone and can be read outside the world built around it but there are some spoiler stuff if you haven’t read the other books before this one.

Quirky, fun, sexy, why choose holiday romance

Five quirky, super spicy, holiday laced stars for this fantastic why choose standalone fantasy romance!

We go from Artica hoping for an internship assignment at the North Pole, to help improve inter-fae relations, under her crush, Elemental Water Fae Prince Kalt, which the fates easily deliver. However, this internship is not at all what she was expecting. Yes, it all holiday magic and cheer, but she also learns she is being possibly courted as the female member of the soon to be King of the Winter Fae’s mate circle. Artica’s bubbly and joyful disposition seems to be the perfect fit for a realm that is the entire basis for the Christmas holiday on Earth. Not to mention, the future king is also trying to bring Kalt into his mate circle, even though Kalt is adamantly against it. But he does believe in the future king, and the Winter realm and all that it does, and he believes that Artica would be a perfect fit as well.

And that’s really the heart of this story. Belief. Everything in the Winter Fae realm is centered on belief. Even the mate circle, which solidifies when all parties fully believe in their union and choose to mate with each other. The mate circles consist of three males and one female. And for the future king, Lark, he already has one piece of his circle firmly in place. The very sexy, and sensual selkie, Norden. And I’m pretty sure Norden is my favorite character in this entire book. He’s able to turn pretty much any situation dirty with zero effort, and is pretty much impossible not to fall in love with, given his loving, sweet, and generous personality. And even though Kalt is fighting his draw to the mate circle, Artica is immediately intrigued, especially by Norden. As things progress towards the coronation ceremony, the chemistry between all of them builds, and magic starts going haywire, causing all kinds of chaos.

As I mentioned at the beginning, this is a very quirky story. And while Artica is a pretty pure, innocent type, she’s also no pushover. She has true moments of strength that show through, but she’s also a very sweet soul, and the perfect embodiment of the holiday spirit. Every time Norden shows up, things are sure to get hilariously out of hand, with innuendos flying in every direction, and I loved every second. And even Lark, who initially comes across as pretty rigid and set, turns out to be a pretty great, gooey centered character as well. The biggest hold out is Kalt, who is dealing with some baggage from his past that is preventing him from embracing this possible destiny in the Winter Fae realm, and ultimately he has to confront not only his past, but his very strong connection with Artica, Norden, and Lark.

This is a fun, wildly entertaining why choose love story. I found myself smiling and laughing out loud during many points of the book, and frankly, I’m a little sad that it’s only one standalone story, because I loved these characters so much. But it has a great HEA, not to mention the absolutely fantastic spice! The audiobook is incredible, as well. Top notch narrators who pull the absolute heart and soul of the characters off the pages with ease and make the story even more enjoyable as a result. You’re not going to go wrong even a little bit if you choose the audiobook route with this book. In fact, I highly recommend it!
