About this listen
You picked up this book because your breakup has been reduced to something that you feel you must “win” to emotionally survive and move on.
This reduction can only take place if you were involved with a toxic person. Toxic people are selfish, empathetically bankrupt, and have a limited relationship with reality. Anyone who feels validated by exploiting your hunger for theirs is toxic - to your peace, your life, and your mental health.
Breakups aren’t won by game-playing or vilifying your ex. They’re won by realizing that winning is losing a partner who has proven to be a dead end.
A new life is waiting for you at the end of this journey. In Win Your Breakup, relationship and self-help coach Natasha Adamo presents the opportunity for a life with relationships that you don’t have to tolerate and eggshell-walk your way through. It’s a life in which your ex regrets the day they ever decided to breach your trust and break your heart; a life in which those who took you for granted wish you could find a way back into theirs. In this life, you can choose to walk away from toxicity - no more trying to be the person someone may want, may commit to, may be honest with, and may treat with respect.
This life is about to be your own.

Story
A guy who rejects or breaks up with you should no longer exist in your life. Contacting him or allowing him to stay in touch with you will make you work harder and harder to convince him that you’re worth his love and attention, and it will compel you to play that ugly and unwinnable game called Chase-a-Man. The best way to avoid this ugly game and break his spell over you is to cut the guy off (cease all communications and interactions) for a set period of time, or in some cases, keep him cut off out of your life indefinitely.

The MANipulator manual. Keep your man interested and begging for more without playing games. So many women get in trouble in their love lives, and 99.9 percent of that trouble could have been avoided if they'd said "Well, f**k him!" a bit more often. Too many women are way too nice and compliant to their men, especially when these men don't deserve that kind of treatment. I, as a dating coach and author of books for women who want to get men, cannot take it anymore.

Story
Real heartbreak is unmistakable. We think of nothing else. We feel nothing else. We care about nothing else. Yet while we wouldn't expect someone to return to daily activities immediately after suffering a broken limb, heartbroken people are expected to function normally in their lives, despite the emotional pain they feel. Now psychologist Guy Winch imagines how different things would be if we paid more attention to this unique emotion - if only we can understand how heartbreak works, we can begin to fix it.

It should be titled "Diary of a Scorned Woman:
Thought this would help me with closure, and it somewhat did, but the tone made me angry instead of being collective and tone. Yes, I feel the frustration. It bothered me that If " He didn't deserve this and that." It was hard to relate since my case was a woman that broke my heart. It had given me some pointers, but it felt long drawn.

How much I related to the author
I don’t know how I stumbled across this book, but it was perfect timing. This is the first self-help book I’ve ever finished. I know now that really healing starts with me and that’s probably what I needed to hear most. This is always been about me looking inside for the answers as opposed to external satisfaction. I’m grateful to the author, for sharing her story, and the reviews of the people who read the book before me.

The closure you need
This book was the closure I needed. Buy it, put it on repeat, and bookmark the chapters that keep you from going back to anything that only “loves” you for what you can provide. Natasha beautifully reminds you, you are a human that deserves respect, integrity, fidelity, kindness, and authentic connection.

Wow wow wow wow
This was the most incredible read. Natasha proved my own personal theory; that personal experiences will always have a deeper way of connecting to their audience, than those who have spent multiple years “studying” other’s personal experiences & behaviors. To feel, to know, to connect, is to have actually gone through it. Her dialogue was perfect. It was powerful. And it was so damn correct. THANK YOU NATASHA
