Acerca de esta escucha

Why God permits suffering is answered here in Why God Permits Evil and How to Rise Above It.

The sage words of spiritual teacher Paramahansa Yogananda provide strength and solace for times of adversity by explaining the mysteries of God's divine drama.

For centuries, philosophers and religious scholars worldwide have sought to answer the question of why a loving God would allow the world sorrows and tragedies.

Here, listeners will come to understand the reason for the dualistic nature of creation, inspired insights on this back-and-forth between good and evil, and receive guidance on how to rise above even the most challenging circumstances.

A whole host of evils are all permitted to distract you in this realm. The argument made is if there was no evil that we may never seek God and we would be perfectly happy to play with his toys forever. The idea is that it creates a contrast thus drawing you to right action and seeking God as the end result. He also explained life being like a movie playing on the screen that God created for his own interest and entertainment. All the lights and shadows are just a play on the screen and everyone is playing their part. That everyone is seeking that which will bring them pleasure even the so called evildoers and rather than calling them sinners consider them more along the lines of wrongdoers. The solution is to recognize it as a show and that we are all playing the games the Gods play and that we cannot be separated from God for we are all one and the same. A drop from that massive ocean of consciousness always prepared to reunite with the ocean. The main takeaway is awareness of nonduality and unity with God, if you imagine yourself separate than you are and if you believe yourself united with God then you are. In regards to the wrongdoers, this quote is from the Tao te Ching: What is a good man but a bad man's teacher?

This is an interesting take on why evil exists in the world. Yogananda speaks!
