Publisher's summary

Whitney Wallace, our elementary-school-aged heroine, has a pretty active imagination and no problems getting into trouble. Now, you can listen to three of her fun adventures in one amazing volume. Meant to be entertaining and also educational to a small degree, these stories for young listeners allow children to enter into Whitney Wallace’s familiar world for a short time, where they will be taught a little bit about taking responsibility and putting active imaginations to work.

In audiobook one, Whitney Wallace's Unbelievable Family History, despite being so bored and completely unappreciative of her own family, she soon learns a secret about many of her family members that will soon change her ideas about them forever. Exactly what new secrets does she learn about her family? Listen to find out what happens.

In audiobook two, Whitney Wallace and the Wacky Wednesday Wash-Out, Whitney and her classmates must work together in a class project to raise money for their school, despite all the negatives they come to encounter. Will they be successful in their fund-raiser? Listen to find out what happens.

In audiobook three, Whitney Wallace's Crazy Concert Catastrophe, our little heroine is having a fit to go to a concert despite the fact she has no money and has no one who will lend her the money to buy concert tickets. Then she finds a way to get the tickets - for free - but is she really interested in working to make her goal a reality? Listen to find out what happens.

This children's storybook bundle with a female lead character is available right now. Order your audiobooks today and start listening and enjoying Whitney's wacky adventures instantly.

My girls loved these stories.

My girls love to play on their tablets and love to read too so I thought it was time to try out audiobooks with them. I found this package with 3 different stories and thought they sounded like something the girls would enjoy so I got it for them. Their first time getting a audiobook. Needless to say they devoured these stories in no time flat and are asking to listen to them again. So I'd say that is a good sign based on their eagerness to hear the stories again. Personally I liked that the stories had a deeper meaning than just plain old entertainment, but the girls, they loved the different characters and voices and want to do their own adventures just like Whitney and I like that. A lot! Great job Susan and Marlene.

Perfect for littles

I requested this audiobook for my littles. They really enjoyed listening to the different stories in this pack. The narrator did a great job with the children voices, they weren't overdone in any way. The stories kept my little's attention and they were excited to listen to all three stories.

Fun and Engaging Read!

I really enjoyed reading the Whitney Wallace series. Whitney's learning was fun to read about. I think the series deserves more books. Children and adults will enjoy reading this or listening to it.

Third is the best

This is the first I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would try another.
The first book was quite fantastical and was not as obvious of a lesson as the other two. The third was the best story. The language is such that it is not preachy or patronizing to kids. I think they’d be very entertaining for young children.

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Marlene Markos ) and I would listen to another. She did a good job narrating the stories. Her kids voices were not too high or squeaky.

Delighful story for listeners of all ages.........

Although Whitney Learns a Lesson Books 1-3 is geared to children, I think that listeners of all ages can enjoy this story. Whitney is a precocious and sweet young girl, and I could relate to so many of her feelings and inner dialogue from when I was a child. As a matter of fact, I found myself feeling pretty nostalgic for fun times with my family after I finished listening to these stories. In each book, Whitney is presented with some challenging situations, and she must learn many valuable lessons in order to succeed. These lessons include the difficulties of working on a group project, how to entertain herself when she is BORED, how to budget her money, how to work hard to attain certain goals, and many other important life lessons for kids and adults alike. I think this would be the perfect audiobook to help make a car trip with youngsters pass more quickly or to substitute for a bedtime story read by mom or dad.

Marlene Markos is the perfect choice for this series. She has a light, youthful voice that suits Whitney's bubbly personality to a tee. She also handles the voices of the adults well, and the story flows very smoothly with her flawless performance.
