About this listen

Following the loss of most of his colleagues in a violent ambush, Kenton has become Lord Mastrell of the few remaining Sand Masters, magicians who can manipulate sand to do their bidding. With the ruling council poised against him, the hot-headed Kenton must become a diplomat to have any hope of preventing the eradication of his people forever. However, there’s another complication: assassins are coming for him from all directions, and Kenton’s only true ally is Khriss, a visitor from the other side of the planet who has an agenda of her own to pursue.

White Sand, Volume 2 continues the New York Times best-selling series of graphic novel adaptations, bringing a crucial chapter of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere to life in GraphicAudio.

Enjoyable adaptation of a graphic novel

Great setting and excellent sound design. The actors seem fully invested in the story. The pacing is great and the background sound effects add to the immersive atmosphere that this series creates .

really well done

the only problem I had was the noise for sand mastery was piercing with earbuds.

A really good performance

I love graphicaudio’s work. The individual characters and sounds effects make the book really come to life.

Awesome Story and Experience

This was an amazing story and as my first graphic audio, it was an outstanding experience. Volumes 1-3 tell a fantastic story arc and it is enhanced by the cast and sound effects. Start with volume 1.

Should Have Combined All 3 Books

I found myself becoming more and more irritated with the fact that this series does not match the author's normal book structure. This series could have easily been one book and would have been a much more pleasant listening if it were so. The way that this was broken out led me to believe that this was more about making money than producing a solid book. Other than that, it's a good story and had great performances.

accents are an issue

Kenton's voice actor can't seem to decide whether Kenton is American or British. It's a slight annoyance, but also a persistant one.

Good story, poor audio

Enjoyed the story, not as good as Sanderson's other works, but cant tell if its because of the writing or just the poor audio. Audio mixing was bad. There was a time where there was background music playing, footstep sound effects, swords clashing, and the voice actors speaking. Its really clunky in parts. Felt like I was playing a video game running around talking to NPCs.
