Publisher's summary

White City (a psychological horror story of the offbeat genre) is a story about a teenage girl named Lucy who throws a Halloween party at her house in Chicago, 1993. And at her party, she hears a scary story about the infamous serial killer, H. H. Holmes, who was said to have been buried in the basement of a post office that stands where his hotel (The Murder Castle) once did. Her and her friends visit the post office to see if the story was true.

Adolescent, Nancy Drew type read!

I really tried to like this; I hung in there while doing work at home, but eventually I knew that this cheesy, uneventful, mixed-up story was not going to get any better. It reminded me of reading Nancy Drew mysteries as a kid, which were good at the time! Not a fan.
