Magical!

Hollie Jackson captured the spirit and magic of the sisters perfectly. Loved listening to this and can't wait for the next book in the series.

Lot's of Fun -if you are not prudish

What did you love best about Which Witch Is Which??

This book is an amalgam of historical/mythological/biblical references with modern -if somewhat stereotypical- characters. Interested to see how the authors work out the ethical dilemmas they have established.

What does Hollie Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love her story telling-she manages all the voices in a very convincing fashion. She turns what are sometimes ponderous passages into an engrossing tale.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no

Any additional comments?

Made my overlong commute too short.

Love the story

Very entertaining and keeps you glued to the story. Love the way they all have different personalities but compliment each other.

A fun filled read.

The story was like a breath of fresh air, a cosy suspenseful, Witch’s tale, delivered with humor, despite the threat of the Apocalypse leading-to the end of the world, as we know it.

Lots of suspense as the story of each lost sister unfold and lead to their reuniting.
The banter between the Witches and the other characters, was vibrant and engaging.

The narrator was an absolute delight. Her portrayal of each character was clear and consistent, despite the multiple and varied accents.

I loved and enjoyed the story from start to finish.

The story appears to come in two parts. This book could be read as a stand-alone, but I am too curious to find out “where are they now?”
Was the end of the world diverted or just delayed? Was everything fated to happen as it did? Will the prophesies of Revelation continue to unfold?
I am onward and forward to the next book in the series to find out.

Not my type of story

Would you try another book from the authors and/or Hollie Jackson?

No

What do you think your next listen will be?

Debora Geary

What about Hollie Jackson’s performance did you like?

Good voice well read

Do you think Which Witch Is Which? needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I do not like a book that is full of sexual descriptions and encounters. I am old fashion and I read books in which I enjoy the characters and where their sexual encounters are implied not portrayed. There is a follow up book that I don't want to read but other people may want and it is not my place to suggest that they might not enjoy this type of book. Audibles job is to sell books of all types to all people and not to sensor content: so publish what sells.

Any additional comments?

i never finished this book because , to me, it is offensive. If one likes blatant and continual sex this is a book for you.

loved the story!

I really wished I could find this in a readable form!! I loved the story and the characters. However, hearing male characters in a female voice took away the feeling of being caught up in the book, which I am sure I would have been if I was able to read it on my own.

Disgusted!!!

Be aware that this is not a complete story.

What would have made Which Witch Is Which? better?

I was disappointed to listen to 11 hours and get NO RESOLUTION! Although it says "book one, I thought it would be a complete book within a series, so if you like the first book, you get more. This is part of a story and as there are several more books by the same group of authors, maybe you have to read 4-6 books to get to the end? It doesn't say how many in the "whole book" disappointing!

Would you be willing to try another book from the authors? Why or why not?

Yes if marketed and advertised clearly as to what you are paying for. One book, or part of a book. How many books to get the finished story?

Would you be willing to try another one of Hollie Jackson’s performances?

No. I didn't like her narration. It was read like a grade 2 reading lesson. Sing song and unemotional.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Which Witch Is Which??

Pass

Any additional comments?

Clearly adovertise if this is part one of six or a stand alone book. Great to have books in a series that link, but incomplete books are disappointing and a waste on time.
