Wonderful

Wonderful. Every child should read this book before the fifth grade. And every adult should memorize it. Simply one of the most wonderful books I’ve ever read. BJ Harrison does a marvelous job narrating. Wow!

EVERYONE should read this short story!

I loved this book from beginning to end. It starts with a man who feels he has no joy and no one to live for in the world. After expressing his feelings to a friend he finds both someone to live for and more joy than he ever realized possible. I felt tremendous joy listening to this wonderful story. I would recommend it to every living soul, especially to those struggling to find hope.

My first Tolstoy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I was prompted to try Tolstoy based on the Mini-series "Genius" where I learned that Einstein and his wife, Elsa, were devotees of this great Russian writer. I wasn't ready for 71 hour War And Peace so I found this magnificent short story, 33 minutes of pure Genius.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I have been looking for God all the time. Yesterday I gave 5 bucks to a homeless man. First time, I swear, and it wasn't until I saw rhe homeless man that compelled me to reach for my wallet as a result of this great story.

Any additional comments?

I don't think I'm ready for W&P, yet!
