Antarctic or Resilience? How about both?

Liked this well enough, I purchased the hardcopy. I read it with this narrator's voice playing in my mind. I've researched some of the examples and found ways to incorporate the lessons learned into some of the classes I've taught as well as using hindsight to revisit some of my past decisions... good and bad.

Missed opportunity

This book could have been so much more. I heard the author speak live and tell amazing stories about the polar explorers and it compelled me to download this book. I was disappointed the stories didn't go deeper and that the narrator was rather uppity and bland sounding. This book should have had charisma but it doesn't. Overall, the stories are compelling and the feats of these brave souls were incredible. This could have been an epic read instead of an okay one.

Miscategorized Genre

Verbose attempt at regurgitating common sense principles. Only the story, if interested in Arctic Exploration, is worthwhile.
