Fantastic!

This was a wonderful book. Such an inspiring story. It’s a true story, which makes it both heart warming and gut wrenching at the same time. It’s an excellent reminder of the strength and resilience of African descendants.

The details are so genuine. It is a “page turner.” I couldn’t stop listening. And the narration is outstanding. I don’t think I would have enjoyed this story as much if I were reading it myself. The names of all the tribes and other details would have been more difficult to keep track of.

I highly recommend When We’re Home in Africa! I thank Themba Umbalisi for sharing this fantastic story.
