This was an excellent book. The voice narration always takes away from the emotion. You have to put too much thought into what’s actually being said and it takes away from the story itself. Very well written, so much that it made me despise Saphire 😂 on to part 2!

I loved this book, but I was ready to hurt Sapphire. She reminded me so much of 1 of my cousins, liar, deceitful, hateful, and loose. I need a part 2 to this.

Took too long to get to the plot, but it was a good book . Makes you think a relationships that you can you trust him

For the most part, the story was interesting. I found myself taking sides and getting invested in a specific characters well being. There were a few cringy lines but overall I enjoyed this book.

However, Virtual Voice ruined my experience.
From the very beginning I was annoyed with the narration. I suspected it was AI but didn't investigate. Instead I sped it up 2x and just tried to get through it. I do think that takes away from it all because I was spending too much time focused on the mispronounced words and clear mistakes in inflection every sentence.

The narrator always mess up the story. This was a good story but why leave it as a cliff hanger like that. We like to have endings. Some authors make me soo mad with that nonsense. End the freaking story. 😡
