better than the last one, but that not sayin much

So i really liked the first book in the series. The character development and introduction was well done, as well as showing the world of warhammer. The second book didn't really have any new characters, nor any real development, though it did a great job of showing off the ratmen.

This book continued with what the second and third book did, explaining the the sky dwarves. Huddleston did a good job again showing the world they live in, as well as a nice antagonist for the characters to fight. It does do a little more character development, mostly the friendship building between the characters.

The Narrator is the best part of this series and did a great job in this one. No stand out moments like the last one, but still just really good, and really able to capture the youth of the characters.

Overall, this series looks like it is just going to be a new race or land each book, and won't really have any real story or character development. Not very impressive, but not horrible for children.
