About this listen

The symptom: Hordes of fiends have gathered.

The diagnosis: War.

The cure: Regular applications of druidic magic to the face.

Virgil has gathered a rather formidable force of deadly druids and brutish beasts and managed to defeat a demonic half-beast and a fiery fiend with anger issues. The druids have truly managed to make the Yggdra Timberland a much safer place but not without their share of scars.

The final general Vozremath himself has entered the fight after finding a loophole in his campaign against the world tree. Emboldened by their leader's presence, the scattered demons he'd sent out have amassed around their leader and become a unified force, Dr. Druid will need more than just a small party and quick thinking to overcome this extinction level event.

The final battle is here. Burnout has always been the real final boss of veterinarians, and if Virgil doesn't put this villain down, the flames are coming for everyone!

Good book

This series culminates into a final story that I hope the public will actively purchase because it is well worth the buy.

Great Ending

This was the best book in the series. Was a great book and great ending. My only complaint would have to do with the editing for the narrorators. It's picky but you can hear Jessica sucking in her breath dsen near everytime. This can be avoided by either breathing exercise and/or better editing. Other than that, great book.

This guys is an awesome writer

This is the first series I have read by him but it is amazing, it’s funny and has a fresh take of the genre. The narration is also amazing as usual.

Good Grief! That’s how you do a trilogy!

Virgil’s War

Virgil, Gwen, and Pierre have defeated the first two generals, but the worst is yet to come. The arch demon has empowered the traitorous druid Dirk to become his third general. Instead of striking at a root, he is assembling an army to attack the world tree itself!

I hate to see a series end, but good Grief, what a way to end a trilogy! Everything is addressed and it’s a wild ride the entire time. It’s a fantastic series and I hope to see more from Maxwell Farmer! Daniel Wisniewski and Jessica Threet do an amazing job with the narration. Just like in book 2, there are some great shout outs in this book.

great conclusiom

this was a great story, while at first thought it was way to close to shield hero anime , I enjoyed the changed and growth the character went through. the side character where great and things developed what seem naturally. the conclusion made me happy for the most part. wish certain people.survived and he finally got and offensive staff but hey it makes sense lol. overall it worked .

Great conclusion

This has been a great series. It is sad to see it end but the fact that it does have an ending has made the story compelling. The narration has been excellent through the entire series.

SOO AWESOME

I first wanna start off this review by saying I wish maxwell would've left a note at the end of the book saying what he felt while writing the end of this book and finishing the series. This was a great addition to the series, if you didn't know it's finished. No more Dr druid, no more awesome adventures. The sucky thing is he got so much stuff he could explore and do and with an entire elf lifespan ahead of him with a whole world this book didn't have to end so soon. Hopefully the author could give us a standalone series about him going on his own.

Now into the cons, there really isn't in this series this book is really straightforward the plot isn't very detailed or very thriller like. it's just a good light hearted litrpg series, the thing with that is Daniel the narrator isn't really good with lighthearted books, I feel he's better in serious books with the raw emotion he puts into the characters and his narration, with that said you already know I'm gonna say Daniel did great in this series and he will continue to do great in other series. I want to see what maxwell farmer will come out with next.
Pros. I really love the fighting in this series its just one battle after another one hard choice after another and its just so awesome!!!. the choices that Virgils made throughout the series and the trauma he was put through changed him. It wasn't very detailed but you could see he changed maybe for the worst or the better. His decision making and everything about his character got better in this series, That being said the character building/progression was peak performance, if you read this book and it ever comes up on what book has the best character progression this series is in top 5 no question at all. The world building is also really good, the author gives us writers a joy and mystery that most books don't give and especially while the plot is so straightforward. The way the world is detailed and the way we're told there's continents outside of what we're showed is crazy. The way the author can keep this book so entertaining and give details like this with such a lighthearted plots with no plotholes really puts in perspective the writing skills of Maxwell farmer. I really loved this series and think you will to.

Satisfying conclusion!

Maxwell Farmer brings this trilogy in for a very satisfying landing. Virgil must finish his quest to save the world tree from demonic hordes. I appreciate that a lot of things that happened to Virgil throughout the series became relevant at the end, people, abilities, and choices he made seemed to be impactful through to the end. We also get to see more creative uses of Virgil's abilities and skills, keeping things fresh. I also really liked the narrators performance. There were many scenes in this book in particular that the narrators really nailed, conveying stronger emotion as the plot spun up to its conclusion.
