Glad I came across this unique short story!

The author creates literary wordplay in a low-brow setting in the future - a place called the Former Republic of Sunny Emissions - subtly explores socially relevant interactions without beating you over the head. The strength is the writer's choice of words that makes this story unique.

Brilliantly Absurd

Prose, phrasings, and choice of words forced me to listen twice today. All ears and mind on deck! This is nothing like the author's other books - thriller/suspense stuff. It's completely original in my opinion. The sample gives you an idea of its unique voice. The main character's name is Willing Participant (a delusional writer!) It's a simple setting (an apartment building). The characters are absurd yet profound. I would laugh at something and then get smacked with its serious subtext. If you like stories that have closure, this isn't it - this floats off into the "Ecosphere Imperative"
