The narrator is great. The storyline is suspenseful and well done. I was hoping for a good outcome for both the danger and the romance.

Faith and danger from all sides

The story was a bit confusing at first with so many characters, but picked up and held my interest. Even though I figured out who the “bad guy” was. Narrator was successful in personifying the male characters. Technical recording glitches created long pauses, which were a bit disconcerting.

An easy yet engaging read

This book kept me interested. I enjoyed the suspense of the “who done it”. The narrator did a fine job of sharing the story. Her tone and emotion blended well with the author’s word choice.

I think the book could’ve been over in half the time

The narrator took the longest pauses between sentences, so much so that I thought my phone had turned off. I even tried speeding up the listening speed, but that made the pauses stick out even more. The character interpretation didn’t seem accurate either. Not much voice inflection or character voice changes.

This book has it all, suspense, romance, banter, humor; not to mention a strong women as the heroine. Faith is the FBI agent who is assigned to find out who is targeting Secret Service agents and the nonstop action goes from there. She is a no nonsense agent who is good at her job and jumps into the case and finds the unexpected along the way. I love books that have strong women characters and Faith is just that. I hope we will see more of Faith as the lead FBI agent in the future.

I couldn't stop listening! INCREDIBLE story! Suspense, intrigue , romance, this book has it all. I look forward to the 6in the series.

Lynn H. Blackburn has written another great story! The humor, the suspense, and the great story line makes this a great read! Can't wait for her next book! Just wish there was a different narrator - Therese Plummer would be great!

This one holds your interest through every chapter. If you like romantic suspense I think you’ll really enjoy this.

I found the story original, suspendful and romantic. Two characters with flaws finding a way to make it work. I appreciated having a real narrator, at least it sounded real.
