Awareness. Focus. Detail.

ADHD is so prevalent in our society. Throughout history it has been unintentionally as well as knowingly overlooked as a social issue. It has been misdiagnosed, disguised and often erroneously reported. This book calmly brings awareness to the problems of ADHD. It shines a calming light on the intricate designs of the behaviors of those afflicted and the plight of their caregivers. The specific problems and possible solutions are all softly narrated in a pleasing and inviting tone that makes you hunger for more conversation on what can be a debilitating life experience; living with ADHD. Highly recommend this book for all of us because we are all affected in many ways by ADHD within the populace. This book is now in my personal development library of self-help genre.

Good information

We’re being a mom that has two kids who have ADHD, this is a really good book to get parents started with understanding the various behaviors that come with it. Both of my kids exhibit different behaviors with their ADHD. One of them has explosive behavior which we have had to work really hard on and I found some really helpful tips within this book. The other one is very fluttery with her thoughts and it is hard to keep her on track or remember things And think before she does things. The book covers a lot of various details and I think the Vegas thing for parents is to understand what ADHD is and how it affects your child. The other thing I’ve learned is, I cannot expect to have a cookie cutter, kid, and the way I thought I would be parenting. My kids has had to change based on who they are and how their brain works.
