I surely hope this is a first of series book! I am so happy when I find GOOD adult paranormal series in a sea of YA ones. I love the characters it's sexy exciting nerve wracking & drags you in on the adventure!

Loved this book, I cant wait for the second one to come out. I love anything by Jennifer L. Armentrout and this is just another great story by her. Well done!

Very good beginning to a series

There's only one book in this series and I'm seriously bummed about this! The author needs to come back to this series! Fallen angels and nephilim? Forbidden romance? I was sucked in immediately!

*pout* Here's to hoping the series isn't dead. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 simply because there hasn't been a book added to this series in YEARS! Like 8 years!

I've read many of Jennifer Armentrout's books and loved them all, so I assumed I'd love this one. (All of the Covenant, Lux, and Dark Elements series) I was excited that this book was categorized as adult instead of young adult, so it wouldn't be about teenagers for once.

Unfortunately, I didn't love this book. It's decent, but there was no depth. It didn't make me care about the characters the way her other books did. The book has a lot of very descriptive steamy sex scenes (which is ok, I realize it's a romance book), but didn't have enough of a story line outside of that. There wasn't much of an emotional connection between the main characters. The only connection between the main two characters was sex, and there wasn't much going on with the supporting characters either. There was no one that I hated or loved. I just didn't feel like I knew much about them. The story did pick up in the last two chapters, but that's a long time to wait!
