About this listen

Twelve Steps to Inner Peace is an invitation to a magical journey in creating miracles in your life by living consciously and making conscious agreements towards life. The world does not begin from outside you; the world begins from YOU. You are the one who gives meaning to the messages received by your physical eyes, ears, nose, taste buds, and the tactile senses of your skin. You create the world through your senses absolutely. The meaning for everything is the meaning you give it. You are the master of your creation. It is in your power to see it the way you want it. Nothing outside you has the power to hurt, damage, or destroy you in any way. If you perceive something as not good, then go inside and create it better. In order to change the picture outside, go within and change the perceiver on the inside. WAKE UP! EMPOWER YOUR LIFE!

Nurturing teachings that sooth the soul

What did you love best about Twelve Steps to Inner Peace?

I love the insight to understanding our own soul. "Twelve Steps to Inner Peace" is about awakening to the truth of who we are, to know our soul, our spirit, and to connect with our wholesome selves so we can achieve inner peace, happiness, and grace. The book is divided, like the months of the year and the hours on the watch, into twelve chapters that offer you tools to find your self and nurture your celestial soul. The chapter titles tell you something about the content: Forgiving, Belief and Trust, Allowing and Surrender, Gratitude, Deservedness, Loving the Self, Compassion 8 Awareness, Meditation and Silence, Conscious Connection, Relationships, and Celebration.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Twelve Steps to Inner Peace?

This book is a spiritual guide, therefore there are no 'high moments' of drama (as you would expect in a story of fiction.) Rather, it is the book as a whole that is inspiring.

What does Sheryl Lynn Christian and Premlatha Rajkumar bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Their voices, which I expected to contrast since they come from opposite sides of the globe, actually complement each other in a soothing way. Since they are the authors of this book, I found the experience of listening quite personal, because there is no 'mediator' or 'narrator' between me and them.

Any additional comments?

Sheryl Lynn Christian and Premlatha Rajkumar come from different cultures, from east and west, joining forces in a loving, gentle manner to complement their teaching.

The result is seamless. In their own words, "we understood that these twelve steps are wholesome and essential to wake up to our magnificence and empower ourselves as beautiful beings of love, joy, peace, and harmony. " So, if fulfillment is what you seek, then take this book to be your guide.
