Simple and Honest
I’ve struggled with intrusive thoughts for years and didn’t expect much from another “program,” but this one felt different. It’s broken down into clear steps that aren’t overwhelming, and the focus on building a better relationship with myself really stuck with me. The tone is kind and real like someone who's actually been through it.

Finding Calm Through Awareness
This audiobook gave a really refreshing take on the management of OCD, inclusive of sensory awareness and connection. I found the grounding techniques quite useful in helping me stay present in overwhelming moments. I also liked how such exercises felt pragmatic and easy to conduct in real life. What's more, the focus on social connection served as a nice added touch-a signal toward relationality in healing. If OCD has left you feeling alone and stuck, this audiobook offers a considerate and very capable avenue to finding balance.

Good book
I can so relate to the author's statement when he said that he did not realize that his job was making him ill. It is unbelievable that how much we take care of ourselves. If the environment around us is not good, we are not good. This is why the author focuses on self-care and different meditation techniques such as grounding.

Practical steps that actually help
This book gave me a clear, no-nonsense approach to dealing with intrusive thoughts. The three-step program is simple to follow and made me feel like I was finally taking control of my mind. I appreciated how it focused on building a healthier relationship with myself rather than just trying to “fix” things. It’s honest, relatable, and doesn’t overpromise—it just gives you tools that work if you put in the effort. A real relief to have found this.
