What an incredible human!!
Susie Chan is such an incredible human. Not just for the super-human feats that are recounted in this book, but the incredible humility and humanness she shows in the retelling of her life thus far. I am so inspired. If you’ve ever wondered “how they do it,” be it elite athletes, untra-runners, Olympians, etc., this book reminds us all that behind every athlete is another human trying to do the best they can. Thank you, Susie!

Inspiring and entertaining
This was a great book that kept me interested and wanting to hear more. Susie Chan is an inspiring person and runner and it was really lovely to hear more about her running journey! However this book should also come with a warning label as I find myself thinking about signing up for the Marathon des Sables myself!
