About this listen
Advocate and abolitionist Conchita Sarnoff risked her life to tell the truth about a Wall Street billionaire hedge fund manager who is now a level-3 registered sex offender.
TrafficKing uncovers a child sex trafficking case of epic proportions and the longest-running human trafficking case in US legal history - more poignant than the Lewinsky case, Watergate scandal, and Profumo affair combined. Eleven years after the registered level-3 sex offender was arrested, four cases associated with his 2005 criminal investigation remain open. The pedophile was not prosecuted under The Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA), a law enacted in Florida in 2000. In this gripping exposé, Sarnoff finds out why.
TrafficKing is a true story exposing the dark side of the human condition: avarice, lust, power, and influence peddling at the highest levels of government.

In June 2008, Florida-based victims’ rights attorney Bradley J. Edwards was 32-years-old and had just started his own law firm when a young woman named Courtney Wild came to see him. She told a shocking story of having been sexually coerced at the age of 14 by a wealthy man in Palm Beach named Jeffrey Epstein. Edwards, who had never heard of Epstein, had no idea that this moment would change the course of his life. Over the next 10 years, Edwards devoted himself to bringing Epstein to justice, and came close to losing everything in the process.

Story
For almost three decades, Fox News has not only made political careers (see: President Donald J. Trump) but also fundamentally altered the political landscape of the United States. It is a truism: as Fox goes, so goes the nation—into further divisiveness and awash in fake news, a gleefully polarizing company. But just as Fox has pushed America apart, now it too is coming apart. As is the family dynasty behind it.

Story
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

Story
Twenty years ago, Ken Auletta wrote an iconic New Yorker profile of the Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, who was then at the height of his powers. The profile made waves for exposing how volatile, even violent, Weinstein was to his employees and collaborators. But there was a much darker story that was just out of reach: rumors had long swirled that Weinstein was a sexual predator. Auletta confronted Weinstein, who denied the claims. Since no one was willing to go on the record, Auletta and the magazine concluded they couldn’t close the case.

On October 5, 2017, the New York Times published an article by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey - and then the world changed. For months, Kantor and Twohey had been having confidential discussions with top actresses, former Weinstein employees, and other sources, learning of disturbing long-buried allegations. Pleasantly Surprised
Ms. Sarnoff did a fantastic job explaining all of the legal technicalities involved in the Jeffrey Epstein case. I thought it would be boring or just a rehash of information from the other books I’ve read. It wasn’t and I was pleasantly surprised.

She has done her homework! Fascinating
Five stars , for her efforts, passion and sacrifice to bring this information to the public.
My favorite quote was when she spoke of how to live well.
He was deplorable!
I’m sickened that this has become such a huge problem world wide and want to help stop it. She shares so much information not available with out years of study and digging. Fascinating.
Very brave to take this step at this time and write this book with the twisted world we live in . Good for her for getting this information out there so we can all be informed and vigilant.
We owe it to our kids to stop this some how .

Amazingly enlightening/scarey
This book opens in awareness of the mind, a heart and soul into the depths of human unconsciousness, in terms of our basic animalistic beings. It also opens doors and into the extreme moral damages that greed and selfishness play. in our personal lives, in one way or another, we are all guilty, but it but power and money and fame contribute to our feeling innocent. It’s the essence of corruption of capitalism, power, greed, money, ego, and personal satisfaction, locked into the penis, unbelievably powerful and legally overwhelming, by the way. thank you to the author she’s a genius and lightning genius
