Demon Hunters, Demon Fighters ... Known as The Damned.

People possessed by Demons, but still remaining in control of their bodies.

One of the most powerful Demon's in Hell can't defeat his sister, so he sets her up to be sacrificed and killed.

If they can stay alive and learn how to share one body, that is.

Now, a millennium old Demon who has no morals is stuck with a hard-headed young woman, who has her own ideas regarding what her future will be.

love it, again!

I always find new things that I missed the first 4xs I've read/listened to this series. The best part is to be able to hear the book while doing dangerous things. Like washing the dishes (dishwasher bluw a hose, hand washing works, now I use it as a air-dryer). or just sharpening knives, or painting. Love it again.

This book is going in my favorite folder!

Torn Asunder by Michael Todd and narrated by Emily Beresford is absolutely fabulous! It has a gal that gets kidnapped and used in a ceremony to host a demon. A group of people arrive seconds too late to rescue her from insertion but they do get her. They take her to their base. She is now considered "damned" . Her family will think she is dead. She will train to protect others from having the same thing happen to them. The group that rescued her are all "damned" also.
Her demon is a succubus. A very powerful and ancient demon too. Although our gal knows she is a demon, they share a body and if the body dies then they both die. Her demon, which she calls Pandora, is very helpful in keeping her alive which makes her quite the supergirl at times!
This has such great action, awesome characters, exciting situations, unpredictable circumstances, plenty of great dialogue, humor, and lots of emotion between characters.
The narration was terrific too!

Fun

Not quite Kutherian Gambit level but a fun listen. Michael sure likes to put two entities in one body.

Another Supernatural Wonder

Michael has done it again, I just can not wrap my mind around how not only can he have these stories in his head but to write them down at the rate he is moving. Protected by the Damned delivers another very strong female lead that just refuses to be kicked and stay down. Along with Michael's writing Emily Beresford just never fails to deliver. Her use of distinct voices with all her character representation is spectacular and keeps me coming back and wishing for the books to never end.

***AWESOME -

This is awesome! I needed a different out look on life, i mean Lucifer and God.This book has many things to digest. I was laughing a lot and then thinking a lot about life in general. How can someone believe in a higher being and not actually not go to church? Well, this book is funny and hilarious and spiritual and i like it. I hope no one judge me because the cursing and the killing is so nice and needed. This helps me look at the world a different way. All the things that has happen in this book is sad but so true in the real world. It helps me to realize that i need to stay true to my self. I can't wait to listen the other books.

Good job,

Good start to a series

This is a good start to another series from the mind of Michael Anderle. Torn Asunder introduces the characters and sets up the world of the damned. The series gets better with every book and at the rate that Michael and his fellow authors put out stories in this and the Kutherian Gambit universe one never has to worry about not having anything to read or listen too.

The strong female lead and loyal cohorts are a hallmark of Anderle's writing and the narration of Emily Beresford is first rate. She helps the characters each have a unique voice and personality.
Katie & Pandora's story gets better as the series goes along. I personally love the interaction between the two of them.

Wow

I was skeptical about picking up this story. I’m glad I took a chance and did. Great job on all the characters and story line. I’m gonna look forward to continuing the series
