Story
Meet Randi Burnett—she’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, and she works for the bride. Missing groom? Intoxicated in-laws? Crying ring-bearer? You name it, she wrangles it. Too bad her personal life isn’t thriving like her side gig as a bridesmaid for hire. Recently dumped, Randi throws herself into her biggest challenge yet when she’s hired as a maid of honor and pretend best friend for an ice queen bride. There’s just one problem—the best man is infuriating, overprotective, and anti-marriage.

Story
Ryder, Garrett, Kenzo, and Diesel - The Vipers. Their deals are as sordid as their business, and their reputation is enough to bring a grown man to his knees, forcing him to beg for mercy. They are not people you mess with, yet my dad did. The old man ran up a debt with them and then sold me to cover his losses. Yes, sold me. They own me now. I’m theirs in every sense of the word. But I’ve never been meek and compliant.

Story
Beckett: If you’re reading this, well, you know the last-letter drill. You made it. I didn’t. Get off the guilt train, because I know if there was any chance you could have saved me, you would have. I need one thing from you: get out of the army and get to Telluride. My little sister Ella’s raising the twins alone. She’s too independent and won’t accept help easily, but she has lost our grandmother, our parents, and now me. It’s too much for anyone to endure. And here’s the kicker: there’s something else you don’t know that’s tearing her family apart.

Western book 1-6
These are wholesome romances, no heavy sex scenes. Set as a western, with frequent references to God and prayer. Religion is used as a source of strength, and not preachy. Overall, sweet stories, good characterization and a joy to listen to.
To Find A Whitman
Audrey is an heiress who runs away to avoid a forced marriage to her despicable cousin. Pinkerton agent, Eugene, tracks her down expecting a spoiled rich girl, which Audrey is not. Their adventures and romance take you from there. The story line is well developed and includes humor and unexpected twists. 4 stars
Book narrated by Alaura Howery. Narration was ok. It took me a little while to adjust to her cadence, it was a bit stiff and occasional pauses in odd spots. 3 stars
To Love A Thief
Kayla is caught up with bad people, and accused of being a cattle rustle and thief. Ben is the rancher’s son. Classic hate to love story. Poor Kayla, she ends up with the classic horrible mother-in-law! The storyline was well developed in interesting. 5 stars
Book Narrated by Jennifer Groberg. Narration is good. 4 stars
To Save A Life
In book 1 we are introduced to Mary, as a thief. Here she is brought back and given a second chance. We learn more of her back story, and how she ended up where she is in life. She found romance, love, and acceptance. 4 stars
Book narrated by Alaura Howery. Narration was ok. It took me a little while to adjust to her cadence. 3 stars
To Lift a Darkness
This story focuses on Lena and Quint. Lena was orphaned young, and turned to prostitution to survive. Quint had a rough life growing up, and got involved with criminals. Both sought family, love, acceptance, however both felt they did not deserve it due to their past. They finally work it out, and they get their dreams. This is a great story, 5 stars.
Book was narrated by Bruce Peters. He is my favorite narrator in the series so far! 5 stars.
To Veil a Fondness
This story focuses on Natali and Wyatt. Wyatt is a widowed cowboy, who was left with some unexpected info when his late wife passed away. Natali comes from a cruel family, which shaped her distrust. They are actually meant for each other, and their romance develops. 4 stars
Book was narrated by Emma Faye. She is enjoyable to listen to, 4 stars.
To Bind a Heart
Jane and Derek bring us a story of second chances. Jane is widowed, and the hotel manager. Derek is a widow, working as a trapper. He has headed west to find his adult son. These two meet up, hit it off, and the rest is romance history. This book does bring Native American aspects, as Derek’s first wife was Native American, which influenced some of the tale. 4 stars
Book narrated by Alaura Howery. Narration was ok. It took me a little while to adjust to her cadence. 3 stars
