Publisher's summary

When Miami gangster Dante flies out to New Jersey to tie up some “loose ends”, the job is quickly sidetracked by a stop in upstate New York - Syracuse to be precise. While there, he reconnects with his blood mother and other relatives.

Like her son, Dante’s mother is an underworld figure of her own as the leader of the ruthless Blackwell family, which is currently embroiled in a bloody war for total control of every last bit of NY and NJ drug territory. With Dante now in the fold, albeit temporarily...the Blackwells see an opportunity to crush their enemies once and for all.

While in exchange, Dante requests their assistance in helping him locate and kill his original target - a gangster named "Fish Man". A deal is consummated, and Dante and the Blackwells hit the streets with a vengeance. But when Dante receives shocking new intel that seems to suggest Fish Man and a Blackwell family member are in cahoots, he realizes time is of the essence. Fish Man and all Blackwell family enemies must be cut down ASAP, to get to the truth.

Fantastic

I absolutely love all five of these books! I was both angry and disappointed when Alina broke up with Dante, but extremely happy once they got back together. Regardless of how many wives Dante acquired, she was his first love. I love that she was open minded enough to accept the other wives into the family although it is not a normal occurrence. I also enjoyed the character development of each family member from Andre to the hiring of Diamond into the fold. The mere fact that Dante had Mr. Wilson investigating the whereabouts of Alina’s family. There were so many interwoven stories but everything came together easily. I was hooked after book one…

Damn 3 But 22???

******SPOILER ALERT*********

I rate it this book a fire. What's a comical, action, ghetto fabulous lifestyle. I'm sorry y'all I know from Jack boys and is due if only in the author's imagination for real. however, I'll say, the book is entertaining if you have nothing else to do. even though we know this is a depiction of ghetto fabulous, it will keep you entertained to the end. I'll save my review until the end but rated every perk of 5. okay I think I talk to text enough so that I didn't spoil it for others. my full review with below but it has spoilers so don't read it.
I'll followed this entire series from beginning to end. much as I love the series oh, the Arthur made it a little unrealistic what's the age Dante. it took away from the realism and made it funny to me. Alina to me with the only smart woman in the bunch. she is wife number one and the only Legal Wife. okay, Dante a polygamist? Well actually he's not considering that he's only legally married to one woman in the United States of America. Modern Love Lady Mary wife number two in the Dominican Republic which is not recognized in the United States. Third wife you married to what the dang necklace? Loop knot forget about all the Macho over-the-top Cayman and straight up ghetto fighting. I was amused. I actually know people like this but they are not 22! I think the story would have had a little bit more realism even when it came to the kids considering not enough time went by our laps for these children if you wrap it around a tall father's waist! but oh, it was still good okay. would I suggest that you read this? yeah, if you want to laugh and Get Low and fake ghetto fabulous money! what gets to me is he a Jack boy! cheese I want to be dope dealer with her girlfriends. they don't have enough money to purchase product? the big come up!

Tied to a Boss

I just loved the way they became sister wives, I’m just done, A man will cheat as long as a women keeps her legs opened like the Waffle House or I-Hop, The fact that he did a Ronald McDonald, on his father in law(if you don’t know what I speak of, watch the Ronald McDonald movie) Then he charmed the dress off his mother in law, then pimp her out made her work under him. Just like a man to have 2 babies at the same damn time, pimp moves pimp moves

Addictive Story

"We can't take Dante to Costa Rica, because you know how he loves SPANISH women. So let's go to Barbados (filled with Black women)."

This series has been addictively entertaining, but if you enjoy BLACK LOVE stories, know the author is NOT for the culture and the romantic connection between a Black man and woman is non-existent.

This male author writes with simplicity that skirts sophomoric storytelling. The meticulous descriptions of cars, jewelry and clothes are a poor person's perception of wealth and power - very simplistic.

He has 20-million characters (it seems at times lol) that go undeveloped.

This is a man's man story and lacks true literary talent. However, we all have our guilty pleasure of enjoying mindless trashy entertainment and that's what you get with this series.

I read the best tip from a previous review in this series. Being that Honey Jones is the absolute worst at what she does - can't call it narration, speed up the rate of speech on the story, otherwise her wooden slow speaking pace is maddening. She needs to change professions immediately.

Loved it!!!!

I enjoyed everything about this book. I loved Donte and Alayna together. I didn’t like him having 3 wives. I felt Alayna was more than enough for him. Other than that great story

storyline

I'm not big on men having multiple wives, and women setting for men inconsistencies and sorry excuse to cheat. I don't like the idea of a disloyal friend that takes the side if their friends man instead of stand by their friends. That whole I'm doing all of this for you is BS, and I disagree with that statement. storyline had some good action points but love area could've been better.
