About this listen

The second title in a new trilogy from best-selling author Richard A. Knaak.

This direct follow-up to the best-selling War of Souls trilogy deals with the minotaurs, a race with which New York Times best-selling author Knaak is particularly associated in the minds of Dragonlance novels fans. This series moves the minotaur species to the forefront of the Dragonlance world.

Great story- great for long car rides.

I listened to this and thought, man this one of the best books I’ve listened to after the Inheritance series. If I close my eyes I can picture the setting.

Ok…not that great

I usually really like his series. This one was just ok. Not sure that I will finish the series now.

I was very taken by the book

I thought I figured the book out and was wrong. I had to wait for the next book. I do not like having questions unanswered

Better than the first, but...

Better than the first book, but still nothing great. Decent characters and story. Slightly removed.

Good narration. Slow story. Gratuitous brutality

Would you try another book from Richard A Knaak and/or Paul Boehmer?

Possibly.

Would you ever listen to anything by Richard A Knaak again?

Possibly.

Which scene was your favorite?

I did like scenes where Faros (spoiler) gains a following by unwillingly saving slaves from the Ogres. I did NOT the chapters with all the Ogre language. It is (of course) unintelligible and a waste of time without translation.

Do you think Tides of Blood needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No.

Any additional comments?

Would like a refund on this series.
