About this listen

Joey and Hunter have been best friends since they were little. Now that they're in their teens, their relationship is starting to change. Despite their openness, they each have something in common the other never knew. They've been hiding a secret, and neither is brave enough to tell the other. At least not yet.

Meanwhile, as their families come to know what's going on, the boys find themselves at a crossroads in life. Could what they have to say change the path they will choose? Maybe. Wild country boys like them are strong. However, they could be even stronger together.

Very emotional touches your heart pretty deeply!

Young Love, finding it's way with some gentle acceptance & understanding & gentle love. There's always someone who needs to be pushed to the Center of the Bridge, so to speak!

Sadly, my last listen from this author

This listen was my third short story by the author. The first two were actually quite good, which is why I purchased a third. It did not take long for the author to display a "chip on his shoulder" by naming a political office holder by name. Please understand, I tollerate a great deal of inference in LGB stories because those inferences are historically true... however, the named politician is as equally tollerant of the LGB community as the vast majority of people in the free world today. This can be readily verified. I will not be listening to any more stories from this author based soley upon his departure into the political arena. I should add: The narrator is actually good, one of the best to tell a short story with the needed southern vocal characteristics for the place the story occurs.
