Not bad. Iv'e listened to worse but I've listened to better too. Overall I'd recommend it. Still unsure if I will get book two. Might wait a bit.

I loved the story told here it was immediately investing I felt hooked on the characters and enjoyed the goofy moments

I started with Gallows Hill , this is my second book by Darcy Coats and I’m completely hooked!!!! Love love love!!!!

The book’s thin plot was fluffed out with repetitive descriptions of characters’ inconsequential actions, such as, “Kira swallowed,” or “Kira saw the cat’s large, amber eyes glow.” It felt like the author had a 50-page story that her editors wanted beefed up to 300 pages. I became increasingly frustrated as the book went on. The ghosts weren’t scary, either. The relationships between the characters felt like the book was aimed at teenagers. I much preferred “Gallows Hill.”

Loved this book. I love a good ghost story and mystery. Darcy Coates does not disappoint. Highly recommended!

This story made absolutely no sense. It just wasn’t good. I expect better from Darcy Coates and wonder how it got past the editor. Pretty sure I got this one on sale for $3 or less and I am still disappointed.

Nothing happens during the first 3/4 of the book. This would have made an ok short story. You also didn't learn anything during that first 6 hours you couldn't pick up at the end. sorry.
