She did not give in to others and stood up for herself. And finally gave into her feelings about her man. I must now review the rules of baseball.Wow

Strong personality

Idk if it was the story or the performance that made me unsure if this was a good book. I thought about that a lot while listening lol. I leaned more toward the performance. It was bland, just read without any character. First time I listens to the narrator. Voice is nice, just missing the performance.

I loved the female character. She was confident and independent with reasonable doubts.
Also like how both the male and female characters were equals - especially with sex. So many authors write women as hopeless, poor, in need of a savior, and not as interactive in during sex- it’s usually men in charge or overpowering women. I wish more authors wrote female characters like this author.

I wouldn’t use a credit for this book. I skipped forward a lot because I was bored and wanted to know the outcome - it was pretty obvious how it would end.

The story was sweet and spicy. I really liked the characters. I enjoyed the writing style of this book. The language used was a bit more formal than I was expecting, but it fit the setting and characters involved. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

I this this might be a good sweeter story. I like that they are equals. I love that he finds her beautiful. It's just too slow and that is exasperated by the narrator. there's just not enough going on or flow from one event to the next. I want to skip ahead or just stop. The narrator reads really slow. I speed up the voice but it didn't help. I like the sound of her voice but she reads so flat that I looked twice to make sure it wasn't AI voice. I would probably read this story myself, maybe it will flow better and faster.

This was a fake marriage trope. There were things that didn’t make sense to me in the story. She wasn’t a strong woman at first. By the end of the book she became a strong woman. LOVED THE NARRATOR.
