About this listen

When humanity is threatened by an explosion at a Russian research laboratory, coworkers and friends in a small southern town must band together for survival. They realize too late that this is no ordinary plague . . . and that the enemy they have to fight may not be the only thing they need to worry about.

This book is a sort of what would happen if Jim & Pam from the Office got stuck in a zombie apocalypse. Interesting take. On to book 2.

Nice find

It was well written, developed, performed, had a unique plot. It was an easy story to get lost in for a time.

Great Read!

Same old ZA with routine storyline but very likable characters. Reader is a bit of a monotone.
No gratuitous sex but lots of violence.

Not bad but nothing new

I liked the office romance unfolding in the middle of an apocalypse. I think Jared and Anna have some depth to their characters with that slow moving romance.

Not sure why some of the reviews are negative? I really enjoyed this book and I almost didn’t get it because of the reviews. Sure glad I decided to give it a chance. I think it’s a good beginning for a series..a new take on zombies!

Worth reading for sure! Good book

it's an ok book. but i found myself uninterested after hour 3, but kept pressing on. I noticed it very difficult to keep up when he was explaining action scenes. like, they didn't necessarily make sense to me. The Narrator is good when he's just reading, but makes me cringe when there's any real emotion or action. very dry. good for the male characters, but not the females. this story for sure has potential, but im not sure I want to keep up with rgs series

I can't decide if I like it or not

This is a multi part series. While the beginning of the book was entertaining the end most certainly did not sell me on the series. I am good with just this one

It was decent until the end

having read many zombie books and such I will say that it wasn't bad, but it was also a zombie romance. lots of that stuff in it and really why need that.

it was okay

One of the biggest things people don't notice in zombie books is that what if you will become one. Alot of zombie books solve this by making a bite 100% infection. It's kinda ran through, this one doesn't have that problem. A few things are really hard to believe though.

The unknowing Dread

(Spoiler alert, sort of)

This book goes from the Office to the Walking Dead with humor and post apocalyptic horror. Likeable relatable characters. Really great book.
